Engineer

Responsibilities


The Town Engineer is a member of the Community Development, Planning, and Codes Department and serves as a resource to several town departments, town boards, and review committees. Primary roles of the Town Engineer are to provide design and construction administration for town projects, provide technical review and advice to town boards and review approved subdivision projects for compliance with approved plans.

Additional roles of the Town Engineer include membership on the Town of Kennebunk Safety Committee, grant application and administration, capital budget assistance, and project administration.

Public Services Collaboration


The Town Engineer works closely with the Department of Public Services and local utilities in evaluating the status of the facilities within the town right of way. This collaboration and coordination process promotes project alignment, resource sharing, and cost-efficient projects for both the town and utilities.
