Kennebunk's Police Department is comprised of 33 employees to include 20 full-time sworn officers, 3 administrative assistants, 1 part-time animal control officer and 10 year around reserve officers. Additional reserve and community service officers are added each summer to assist with the Town’s increase of seasonal population. 

The members of the Kennebunk Police Department are committed to working in partnership with all citizens of our community in the delivery of police services, raising the quality of life for all. We promote dignity, respect and a safe atmosphere by recognizing our responsibility to maintain order, fairly enforce laws, and protect individual rights.
