Programs and Resources for Older Adults
As an Age-Friendly community, the Town of Kennebunk is dedicated to working together to support older adults. We are fortunate to have many resources available to help people as they age and look for support and engagement in our community.
- A Helping Sand- This a program to serve older adults who are unable to fill and transport a bucket of sand themselves. Requests are made and filled by Kennebunk police officers as soon as possible once the request is received. This program is offered November-March each year.
- Smart Speaker Program- A program intended to promote a safer, healthier and happier lifestyle by providing access to technology for older adults through the use of a smart speaker. This program is offered on an as-available basis.
