Holiday Food Basket Program


Thanksgiving and Christmas food baskets are available upon request. This service is offered by COS of the Kennebunks.

Thanksgiving Dinner


Project Pilgrim is an annual complimentary Thanksgiving Day dinner prepared and served by volunteers with Community Harvest at St. Martha’s Church in Kennebunk from 12-1:30 p.m. Volunteers welcome hundreds of guests each year and also offer take out meals and make deliveries to home bound individuals. Due to the pandemic, there are changes to this offering this year. Please contact Community Harvest at (207) 967-1911 or sign up online for a take out meal or a home delivery of a cooked meal. 

Each year the West Kennebunk Village Committee also hosts a free Thanksgiving Day meal from 12:00-2:00 p.m., held at the Dorothy Stevens Community Center. Due to the pandemic, this event has been cancelled. Please Please contact Community Harvest at (207) 967-1911 or sign up online for a take out meal or a home delivery of a cooked meal. 

Christmas Dinner


The Noel Dinner is an annual complimentary Christmas Day dinner prepared and served at St. Martha’s Church in Kennebunk at 1:00 p.m. This festive celebration features a delicious meal and holiday entertainment. Due to the pandemic, there may be changes to this offering this year. Please see details below.

2020 Community Harvest 18th annual Noel Dinner Christmas Meal

Due to the spread of COVID-19, The Noel Dinner will be a DELIVERY ONLY meal this year. Please reserve your meals today and volunteers will deliver to you on CHRISTMAS EVE. Community Harvest is limiting the number of volunteers and relying on the expertise of professional kitchen staff to prepare and package the meal according to CDC guidelines. They are also implementing robust health and safety protocols for the delivery of meals. Meal reservations are required. Reserve a meal online or call (207) 967-1911

Secret Santa


Secret Santa provides Christmas gifts to children living in Kennebunk, Kennebunkport and Arundel whose families need help doing so. Interested families may apply online beginning in mid-October each year or may pick up a paper application at the Town offices. Please call (207) 985-2102 option 3 with any questions. All requests are strictly confidential.

Elder Elves


The Senior Center at Lower Village provides generous gift bags full of wrapped Christmas gifts and surprises for home bound seniors or those without family nearby in Kennebunk, Kennebunkport and Arundel. FMI, contact the Kennebunk Town Office at (207) 985-2102, option 3.
