Committee on Aging

In June of 2015 the Town of Kennebunk was named part of AARP's Network of Age-Friendly Communities. The Committee on Aging was created in May of 2016 to address the issues of aging in Kennebunk. The committee will gather relevant information pertaining to seniors residing in Kennebunk with regard to medical and nursing services, elder care specialists, recreation, housing and employment opportunities as well as local assistance programs addressing a variety of needs. The committee will function as a liaison and advisory group to other town committees, town departments and town officials.
