Bring Your Kitchen Compost to the Transfer Station

Kitchen Compost

Did you know you can dispose of your kitchen compost at the Transfer Station?

Residents can now bring their kitchen compost to the Transfer Station located at 36 Sea Road. At this site, simply empty your five-gallon bucket into one of the 36-gallon totes provided by Agri-Cycle. The cost to dispose is $1.00 per bucket.  You can also purchase processed compost for $2 per five-gallon bucket.  See the attendant on duty for disposing and picking up of kitchen compost.

Please review this flyer for more information on kitchen composting and the specifics of which items can be included in your kitchen compost.

The Kitchen Composting program is run by Agri-Cycle in conjunction with CPRC (the operators of the Town's Transfer Station). This program is open to all residents.
