The Town of Kennebunk is undertaking a planning process for improvements to the Public Services facility, located at 36 Sea Road. As we explore various options, we are seeking feedback from the community to better understand how the public uses this site.
Currently the Transfer Station is located at the rear of the Public Services facility and privately operated under contract through 2025 by CPRC. While Kennebunk offers curbside collection of trash and recycling, the Transfer Station & Recycling Center serves as a Regional recycling location, and offers disposal of items that cannot be picked up curbside.
Other uses at this site include town-related storage of documents, equipment, snow and materials storage for paving projects, resident access to sand/salt, a dog park and sledding hill.
