Summer Band Blast 8 at the Waterhouse Center

The Waterhouse Center at 51 Main St. in Kennebunk is the place to be on the afternoon of Aug. 24, when Summer Band Blast 8 kicks off at 5 p.m., rain or shine. The line-up of local musicians includes Dana Pearson, The Fossils, Lincoln Continental, and The Dock Squares. The free concert runs from 5 to 7 p.m. The show is a benefit for Community Outreach Services; concert-goers are asked to bring a non-perishable food item or cash donation to help those in need in the local community. New this year, attendees will have the opportunity to make their cash contributions go farther to help our neighbors in need, as local sponsors Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Mail-It Unlimited and the Pizey Family have joined forces to match the first $1500 raised at the concert.
