a classic celebration of Summer and the 4th of July in Kennebunk.

Fireworks in Kennebunk

The Towns of Kennebunk and Kennebunkport host a fireworks display on Tuesday,
July 4th. The show begins at dusk and can be seen from all three beaches in Kennebunk. If there is extreme inclement weather, the fireworks are rescheduled to
July 5th.

Did you know you need a permit to use consumer fireworks in Kennebunk? Kennebunk's Fireworks Ordinance requires that a permit be issued for all fireworks use. Sky lanterns (or paper lanterns) are also prohibited by State law.

Holiday Hours & Trash Collection Information

Town Hall will be open regular business hours (8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.) Monday, July 3rd and closed all day Tuesday, July 4th in observance of the holiday. The Transfer Station will be closed Tuesday, July 4th and trash collection scheduled for Tuesday has been moved to Friday, July 7th.
