Town of Kennebunk, Maine - Email Notification

Town Hall & Transfer Station Closed Thursday, January 4th

With the expected storm tomorrow please also note the following weather related information from the Town:  

  • There is a Parking Ban from 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, 1/4 through 6:00 a.m. Friday, 1/5. Parking on any public way is prohibited until the parking ban is lifted. Parking is available in the following municipal lots: behind the Waterhouse Center, Parsons Field on Park St. and in the rear of the Garden Street Bowl on Garden St. View more helpful information regarding our Winter Operations
  • Trash and recycling collection is expected to take place tomorrow despite the storm. Please have containers placed at the end of your driveway or curb by 6:00 a.m. as crews are expected to be out early. 
  • In the event that emergency shelter is needed due to prolonged power loss and/or storm conditions the Town of KennebunkTown of Arundel and the Town of Kennebunkport will open a shelter at the Dorothy Stevens Community Center, 80 Thompson Road, West Kennebunk. This shelter location is NOT CURRENTLY OPEN and will only open when authorized by local officials. Please contact Kennebunk Fire-Rescue dispatch with any questions regarding emergency shelter at (207) 604-1354.
  • The Ice Rink at the Waterhouse Center will be closed all day Thursday and will open late on Friday once the snow has been cleared. You can check on the rink via the live webcam
