Special Market this Saturday with LAUNCH! Festival activities

The Community Market of the Kennebunks will share space this Saturday at the Waterhouse Center, downtown Kennebunk, with the Chamber of Commerce LAUNCH! Festival. In addition to all of the wonderful local vendors at the Community Market, this Saturday will also feature the Captain's Cook-Off as part of LAUNCH! From 11 a.m.-1 p.m. watch local chefs turn Maine ingredients into a gourmet dish, and see one crowned the winner. Amateurs, professionals and kids can enter their own blueberry or whoopie pie dish, with prizes awarded. $5 admission, free admission with COS food pantry donations.

The Community Market of the Kennebunks is held at the Waterhouse Center on Saturdays from 9:00 am-2:00 pm, from late May through early October. Here you'll find artisans, authors, bakers, beaders, butchers, canners, carpenters, chefs, chocolatiers, craftsmen, creameries, do-gooders, farmers, fishermen, florists, foragers, herbalists, knitters, metal-smiths, musicians, non-profits, painters, photographers, quilters, roasters, sewers, volunteers, weavers and woodworkers! This market provides an opportunity for local residents and visitors to obtain a wide variety of Maine produced products. We hope to see you there!
