Summer Street Rehabilitation Project - WIN 21928.05 - August Update

Posted on August 1, 2018 at 5:49 PM by Christopher Osterrieder

The following is an update on the project status:

A Certificate of Appropriateness for the Summer Street Roadway Rehabilitation project was issued by the Kennebunk Historic Preservation Commission at it's June 25, 2018 meeting.

The plans have been updated to incorporate a new drainage system, adjustments to the sidewalk alignment in specific locations and definition of access management.

Progress plans have been provided to Kennebunk Light & Power who have begun the coordination effort for utility pole relocation and replacement.

Plans have been provided to a contractor for pricing of the drainage system and coordination of the granite curbing.  The Town has met with our paving contractor, Dayton Sand & Gravel to review the project scope and coordinate the work.

A project schedule should be refined during mid-August and more details about the tentative commencement of work and timelines will be established and shared.

Digital Plans are available for review here:  2016.10-Base Compiled 7-24-18 - DRAFT PLANS - Secure.pdf

Any questions on the project may be directed to the Town Engineer Chris Osterrieder.
