On Halloween night, October 31, 2013, Summer Street will be closed between Park Street and Depot Street from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with eastbound traffic detoured onto Park Street and westbound traffic detoured onto Depot Street. Police officers will be at both detour locations to assist with directing traffic. This temporary road closure is taking place in order to allow pedestrian foot traffic from trick-or-treaters to occur. The police department thanks motorists, in advance, for their cooperation and patience during this very busy time. During the Summer Street closure, there will be no parking allowed on either side of Winter Street.
